It resists hardening in cold weather and keeps its shape under repeated blowback cycling, so the hop effect stays consistent from the first magazine to the last.
At 70°, this medium-hard rubber holds its shape under stronger gas pressure and higher cycling rates, reducing nub bounce on upgraded GBB rifles running 0.28g–0.32g BBs.
