Description
The Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 D.O.R. (Direct Optics Ready) is a gas blowback pistol from the popular Hi-Capa series, favoured by IPSC shooters and speedsoft players for its reliability and precision engineering. The slide is designed for direct mounting of the Micro Prosite red dot (sold separately): you remove the rear sight and fit the red dot in its place. The included high-mount base allows a higher position with an integrated backup sight.
The short flat trigger and semi-long slide stop make control easier, and the wide serrations and ribs on the slide make charging easy even with a red dot fitted. The new blowback engine with a built-in piston and the M45A1-type short recoil system give strong kick and stable operation. A metal insert in the slide protects the slide stop and notch from wear, and the die-cast magazine resists the cold.
The recommended gas is low pressure, such as 134a or 144a. Green Gas and stronger gases can damage internals and seals and are not covered by warranty. 0.25–0.28 g BBs are recommended. The Hi-Capa is also one of the most widely upgraded platforms.
