Description
The Specna Arms SA-C22 CORE™ Gen.2 is a carbine on the M4/AR-15 platform with a long M-LOK handguard and a 375 mm inner barrel, which makes it suitable for medium and longer-range games. The receiver, battery compartment and pistol grip are made of fibreglass-reinforced polymer – light, strong and free of play between the upper and lower receiver.
The folding sight on the RIS top rail does not get in the way of red dots and optics, and the adjustable stock with a non-slip butt pad lets you set the length. The olive colour blends in perfectly in woodland. The pre-installed spring gives about 390 FPS, and the M90 spring in the box lowers it to about 310 FPS for CQB.
Inside is the reinforced Æther™ V2 gearbox, ready for springs up to M140, with a TDC Magnus™ hop-up chamber and a Helium™ Flat Hop bucking. The HAL™ ETU uses magnetic sensors and offers active braking, a binary trigger, adjustable sensitivity and pre-cocking and programmable fire modes, and the ESA™ system allows a quick spring change without disassembly.
