Description
The SSP5 Zero Friction Blowback Unit is an upgrade part made specifically for the Novritsch SSP5 pistol by the well-known competition parts maker TTI. The blowback unit (BBU) is the mechanism that uses gas to drive the slide back after each shot, and it defines the feel of the recoil and the cycling speed.
The part is CNC machined from aluminium and features a unique roller bearing that reduces friction almost to zero. The slide glides effortlessly on every cycle, giving a crisper recoil, a faster return to battery and more stable operation in rapid fire. Less friction also means less wear on the slide and frame.
The red colour shows as the slide cycles and highlights the individual look of your SSP5. This upgrade suits players who use the SSP5 in CQB and speedsoft and want the fastest, smoothest action.
The part fits in place of the stock blowback unit and needs no modifications to the pistol. After fitting we recommend lubricating the seals with silicone oil and checking the pistol with gas and no BBs.
